Why material choice matters
Half of a thermoformed part's quality comes from material. Different materials vary in clarity, chemical resistance, temperature tolerance and food/medical compliance β choosing wrong leads to cracking, discoloration or non-compliance.
PETG characteristics
PETG offers high clarity, good chemical resistance and impact toughness β commonly used in medical and premium consumer packaging, and easily recyclable.
PVC characteristics
PVC is economical, clear and fast to form β great for general retail blisters. But be cautious in regions with strict environmental and food-contact rules.
